What you need to know
Cancellation
There is a cancellation fee of $50 if you give us notice 2 weeks prior to your booking date. After that the cancellation fee will incur a non-return of the $200 bond.
Note that high COVID-19 case numbers are not a valid reason to waive the cancellation fee.
However, we are happy to reschedule your booking for another date if it is an unusual circumstance (like your child being sick).
Refund of bond
The $200 bond will be refunded in full providing the Willetton Playgroup facilities have been left in a satisfactory condition in accordance with the conditions for hire. It is at the Willetton Playgroup discretion upon post party inspection to decide if additional cleaning/repairs are required.
Willetton Playgroup, including party hire of the venue, is run by a committee of volunteers. We believe their time and weekends are valuable.
Yes you will have access to indoor & outdoor facilities including all toys. You are welcome to use indoor toys available in our storage room as well as a shed filled with outdoor toys such as cars, bikes, and sandpit toys.
There are 2 reverse cycle air-conditioners for your comfort. You also have access to a brand new gazebo for some shade outdoors
You can absolutely have decorations to make the event your own. However please be advised that decorations must not be affixed to paint (walls, doors, ceilings etc) as damage to these will need to be rectified at your cost.
Yes, we have a BBQ on site that you can rent out for $25. You will need to bring your own gas tank.
The kitchenette has kids crockery, a kettle, microwave, and oven, as well as some basic kitchen accessories for preparing your party snacks.
If you have a party theme we recommend getting your own crockery
Yes, the facilities are catered for young ones. We have 3 child-sized toilets for young children and a changing area for babies. We also have regular sized toilets for adults
You can book 6 hours anytime between 8 am and 6pm. For special requests of extended hours please contact us directly at partyhire@willettonplaygroup.com.au and we will try to accommodate your needs as much as we can.
The maximum capacity for your event is 100 people including kids.
No, for insurance purposes we are not able to allow a bouncy castle at our venue.
Yes, you are welcome to have animals. We will give you access to the side gate for animals to be let in. However, there is no vehicle access as this will damage our lawn. Furthermore, we required all animal droppings or anything like to be cleaned up.
We run playgroup sessions during the week, even on public holidays, so unfortunately our facilities are only for hire on weekends.
Yes, we do allow alcohol, but please make sure to dispose of cans/glass correctly in the provided bins and consume moderately.
